What is a connect group?

Our vision for Connect Groups is that each would provide a space and place where people know they are loved, supported and encouraged. We want everyone to leave each gathering equipped to be a witness to the Gospel and that together we will extend the Kingdom. Our desire would be that each group is also missional in their outlook by thinking of ways you invite a neighbour or friend along.

How will it work?

Initially, the groups will meet on a monthly basis, in a home setting, on a weeknight in the first week of each month. On that week the Wednesday night Encounter meeting will be postponed to help make way for the Connect Groups to meet.

Guidelines will be provided for each Connect Group to help facilitate each meeting and ensure we are all ‘singing of the same hymn sheet’.
Bible Studies will also be provided for each group to follow.

We are looking for people who are interested in being considered for “host” or “leader” roles. Hosts are needed to very kindly provide a space for people to meet in their homes. Leaders will be expected to ensure each night follows the guidelines and lead the Bible Study. Please understand that we cannot guarantee roles but we welcome your interest in both.

How do I sign up?

Our hope is that Connect Groups will be a large part of the church moving forward and are praying many of you will sign up, get involved and be part of it.
