I wanted to take a few moments to wish you all a very Happy New Year! What a year 2020 has been, and I know some of us will be glad to see the back of it, but there is still much to be thankful for. I think about what Job said after he lost everything, “The Lord gave, and the Lord has taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord.”
We can still make a choice to praise God, even in the midst of the storm, because we know that ultimately, He will prove Himself faithful to us. We know there is nothing wasted by God and He will “work everything for good” for those “who love Him and are called according to His purpose”.
I firmly believe the best is yet to come! 2021 will have its challenges like every year brings, but no matter what we face, we are in this together, and we will overcome, because we know God is for us and NOT against us. Jesus victory on the cross is our victory, not because we accomplished it, but because He graciously includes us, as part of the family of God.
My prayer for us all in 2021 is this; that we will overcome every challenge by pressing into God more, trusting His Word and encountering His power in every situation. Remember, God loves you and is for you! He has a plan and purpose for your life. You can trust Him, He won’t let you down!
May you know His peace, presence and power in 2021. Happy New Year!
Encounter
Please remember that because of the current lockdown we have taken the decision to postpone the start of our Encounter mid-week meetings until the lockdown finishes. We will keep this under review and keep you all updated.
In the meantime our Zoom Prayer gatherings will continue on Wednesday nights at 7:30pm. You are very welcome to join us, and I would encourage you to connect with us even if you haven’t so far. It is a bit different than normal prayer gatherings, but we have some amazing times together praying for each other.
If you would like the link to join us please use the contact us page to let us know.
